Set on a luxurious private island, The Club is told from several different perspectives as it follows the glitz, glamour and catastrophe of the celebrity-packed opening weekend of The Home Group’s latest club, Island Home. With members-only clubs around the world, Home is the most exclusive society of its kind - one that the rich and famous will do anything to join. However, there are nefarious things happening behind the scenes at Home - of which, its members are largely unaware.

Run by twin brothers and a few long-time employees, Home’s latest development is by far it’s more ambitious undertaking to date. Despite the astronomical cost of their latest feat and the unpredictable temper of one of its founders, Island Home’s opening weekend is expected to go off without a hitch… and it almost does. Until someone turns up dead.

This was such a fun read! I really enjoyed seeing the events unfold through the eyes of several key characters - as well as the press coverage of the event, as told through a Vanity Fair article. It was also fun to read about the make-believe celebrities and their various proclivities inside and out of their exclusive no-photos-allowed fun-house. While some of the plot points were fairly predictable, there were still plenty of surprises.

If you enjoy whodunit murder mysteries or rich people behaving badly, I highly recommend picking this one up - it’s out on Tuesday!
