⁣I just finished reading Catch & Kill and wow! If I were to describe this book in one word, it would be “explosive”.

⁣In the book, reporter Ronan Farrow documents (in great detail) the timeline of events that lead to the publication of his Pulitzer Prize winning reporting that helped bring about the downfall of one of Hollywood’s most notorious predators - Harvey Weinstein. While the bulk of the book focuses on Weinstein, it also touches on sexual misconduct evidence surrounding Donald Trump and Matt Lauer (and specifically how NBC News tried to “catch and kill” the Weinstein story in an effort to hide their own internal culture fraught with sexual misconduct allegations and cover-ups).⁣

⁣Throughout the book, Farrow interviews tons of women who present evidence again Weinstein, Lauer and Trump. Their stories are a bit difficult to read due to their graphic and harrowing content. That said, this is such an important book, as it shines a light on the lengths the rich and powerful will go to in order to silence and intimidate those who seek to humiliate or discredit them. It also highlights the bravery of the women who have been courageous enough to step forward and share their stories, despite the backlash.⁣ Thank you Ronan Farrow for writing this book and thank you Little, Brown and Company for publishing it!
