Perhaps the perfect quarantine read. This beautifully written historical fiction book features a young count in post-revolutionary Russia who is sentenced to live out his life under house arrest in an attic room at the grand Metropol hotel. He, of course, meets a slew of interesting characters and manages to find adventure despite his predicament.

⁣While we’re stuck at home in quarantine, it’s easy to sympathize with the lead character who faces death if he attempts to leave the confines of the hotel.⁣

⁣⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(4 out of 5 stars)
