✨SEPTEMBER WRAP UP✨

It’s that time again! As usual, drawing by yours truly.💓

A quick recap of the ten books I read in September:

✨The Charm Offensive: A sweet romance about a reality TV producer who falls in love with his leading man

✨The Perfect Find: A romance about a forty-year-old fashion veteran looking to make a career comeback when she falls for a younger man who is most definitely off-limits.

✨A Slow Fire Burning: A whodunit murder-mystery that explores the potential suspects after a young man is murdered on a houseboat.

✨Apples Never Fall: From the author of Big Little Lies, this family drama/mystery follows the story of a seemingly perfect family and what ensues after the mother goes missing and her husband is the most likely suspect.

✨Survive The Night: A fast-paced thriller about a grieving college student who accepts a ride from a stranger who may or may not be a serial killer.

✨Dopamine Nation: A fascinating nonfiction exploration into the neuroscience of pleasure and pain and how to find balance in our crazy modern world.

✨The Final Revival of Opal & Nev: A fictional biography about an interracial rock duo across five decades. Cheryl Strayed’s September Literati pick.

✨The Dutch House: A fictional generational story that follows two siblings from childhood to old age amidst the backdrop of a uniquely sensational home.

✨Holdout: A space thriller about a female astronaut who refuses to return home after an incident on the international space station and instead attempts to use her platform to inspire political action.

✨Ace of Spades: A YA Thriller about an anonymous insider spreading rumors about a high school’s only two black students. Think Get Out meets Gossip Girl.

And finally, I became an affiliate with BirthDate Candles this month! 🤩 Use code BOOKMARKPARTY10 for 10% off your order (I highly recommend for birthday gifts!). 😘
