April Wrap Up

Aprilwrapup

Not my best reading month ever, but hey, at least I had fewer books to draw this month. 🤷🏼‍♀️☺️

Here’s a quick recap of the six books I read in April:

✨There There: A fictional (yet very realistic) portrayal of the lives of twelve modern-day urban Native Americans whose lives converge at the Oakland Powwow.

✨The Plot: A psychological thriller about an author and his stolen storyline. Publication date: May 11, 2021

✨The Lions Den: A thriller about a girls trip gone wrong that takes place aboard a mega yacht sailing the Mediterranean.

✨Stolen Girls: A gut-wrenching and deeply disturbing true account of the atrocities endured by women kidnapped by the terrorist group, Boko Haram in Nigeria.

✨Finley Donovan is Killing It: An easy and fun read about a struggling author mistaken for a hit-woman whose hired to kill a stranger’s husband.

✨A Girl is A Body of Water: A multigenerational saga that that takes place in Uganda and follows a young girl’s journey to find her mother.

Full reviews for all of these books are featured on my page.
